How it works
How it works
Six steps from first question to funding — with your industry considered at every one.
- 1
1. Tell us your industry and what you need (about 60 seconds)
What the business does, how long it's been trading, the amount, what it's for and your state. No credit check at this step.
- 2
2. A real person reads it with your industry in mind
We think about how businesses like yours earn and spend — card takings or contracts, seasons, licences, equipment — before we pick up the phone.
- 3
3. A call to fill in the gaps
We ask the questions a lender would ask of your industry, so there are no surprises later. It's a conversation, not an interrogation.
- 4
4. Options that fit
Property-secured, unsecured cash-flow or a line of credit — what's realistic, what it takes and what the next steps are.
- 5
5. Documents, then approval
Only once you decide to go ahead. We tell you exactly which documents matter for your industry, and a credit check happens at this stage.
- 6
6. Funding
Funds go to your account or straight to whoever needs paying — a supplier, a seller, the ATO or a builder.
Why accuracy matters on the form
The form is short, but every answer steers the match. The amount tells us whether unsecured options are realistic. Trading time and banked turnover shape how much can be considered. Property ownership opens the secured lane. And your industry tells us which questions to ask and which lenders are comfortable with businesses like yours. Accurate answers mean the first option you hear about is one that can actually work.
Not sure which lane fits? Try the secured or unsecured check or look up your industry in the industry finder. Then start your enquiry.
Common questions
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. It only happens once you've chosen an option and decided to apply.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. We don't spray enquiries around. A real person reviews your situation and matches it properly, so you won't get a string of calls from strangers.
Why do you ask what industry I'm in?
Because it changes what a lender will check. Knowing your industry lets us ask the right questions early and match you to a lender that's comfortable with how your business works.
What documents will I need?
It depends on your industry and the lane. Unsecured options usually start with recent business bank statements and BAS; property-secured options add property details. The industry finder lists the usual documents for 44 industries.
What if I have ATO debt or past credit problems?
Tell us up front. Both are considered case by case, and being open about them helps us find an option that can work.
